Falling into winter
It happens so easily. One day its a warm sun and cooling breeze. So many orange, gold and red leaves. Harvesting what was sown in the spring.
Suddenly it happens...
The North wind is blowing, blowing quite hard with big gusts that are tearing the remainder of the leaves from the trees.
Stark, dried trees are dancing about. The sound of the remaining foliage dry and rattley.
It is not yet 4:30 but the sun is sinking behind the hills in the west, down into the ocean that lays behind them.
Pale coral sky swirled with an even paler blue. Colours are fading. The season is sliding.
Winter will be here soon.
